Connie Cavanaugh

Connie Cavanaugh is as real as it gets. Her laugh-until-it-hurts story telling combined with sensible biblical teaching leaves audiences wanting more. Her greatest gift is a transparency that gives women permission to relax, be real, and find hope. Connie’s best-selling book From Faking it to Finding Grace reveals her 10-year season of spiritual dryness while married to the minister. It offers hope for those who hide their doubts behind a Sunday-morning smile. Her sequel Following God One Yes at a Time outlines a post-wilderness faith: a simple, doable Christ-centered relationship that works in the real world. Connie and her husband Gerry Taillon (pronounced Tie-Yo) have three adult children (all married) and six grandchildren (so far). When she’s at home, Connie enjoys her garden, reading, Netflix, online Scrabble, hiking, biking, games and outings with the grandkids.

Following God One Yes At A Time

You’ve heard of a dream job or a dream house, but did you know God has a dream for you too? Many dreams; big and small, short-term and long-term.

One of the main barriers to following God’s dream is fear. Fear can be a catalyst for a season of spiritual dryness.

“Chocolates on the trail” serve as proof that God hears, God cares, and He is with you all the way.

Walking by faith is accomplished “one yes at a time.”
