Prayerfully, because of the care God has shown to us, we want to share the love of Christ with the world around us. This is a real and tangible way to live out the wholistic gospel, relating Christ to all areas of life, meeting the needs of people in our neighbourhood, and the world, wherever God calls us.

“He has showed you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” –Micah 6:8

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” — Matthew 25:35

We are serving the community through:

  1. Prison Ministry

  2. “…I was in prison and you visited me.” –Matthew 25:36

Members of this ministry have visited Mission Correctional Institute and now, Ferndale Institution, monthly for over 20 years. From 4:30 to 10:30pm on Saturdays , they drive to Mission, visit, conduct a bible study and share the gospel with inmates. Those interested must be over 18 years old and must complete a security clearance.

“I always feel the rush of the Holy Spirit when I visit… although [when] preparing to go, it’s so easy to procrastinate. …God has provided the harvest and almost every visit there is someone to share with.” -Thomas, ministry leader.

  3. Charity Donations

  4. Burma. China. Haiti. Chile. Japan. Pakistan. Our hearts go out to places all over the world where disaster has struck. 5. Social Concern Partnerships

  6. “If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother and sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in you? …let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” –1 John 3:17-18
